Simply look at Steve Jobs, the guy who ran Apple so well. He was a United States Army x GrinchUgly Sweater believer in “natural” medicine, in fact he wouldn’t bathe since he felt this somehow or other weakened him but his fellow workers had lots of problems with this. He developed Pancreatic Cancer nothing may have done him any good but from the little that I’ve found on his case he may have had a rare case, like Ruth Bader Ginsberg, where prompt surgery may have saved him. He wanted to try some “natural treatments” first, he did, and you know how that turned out. Just because you know a lot about a lot of things don not assume that you know everything about everything. He was in many ways a brilliant man in most areas but not in the treatment of pancreatic cancer. The worst part is he got a liver transplant later on when he decided to try regular medicine, something that might have saved someone who really needed it. So sad.

Both were tremendous multi-sport athletes. Brown excelled at football, baseball, basketball, track and lacrosse. In high school, Brown earned varsity 13 letters in those sports. Brown still holds several NFL records and he did it all in only nine years of playing for United States Army x GrinchUgly Sweater  the Cleveland Browns. Brown is in THREE halls of fame. The Pro Football, College Football and Lacrosse halls of fame. Deion was a great player in the NFL for five team, the Atlanta Falcons and Dallas Cowboys among others, and a great college player at Florida State. He played Major League Baseball for four teams, including the Cincinnati Reds and Atlanta Braves. Like Brown, Sanders in the Pro Football and College Football halls of fame, but it’s doubtful he’ll make Cooperstown. But it wasn’t for a United States Army x GrinchUgly Sweater of trying (except when he was on the Yankees). My nod goes to Jim Brown as he dominated in everything he did. Deion was great, but he was more interested in putting on a show or being a hot dog than he was a team player.

Christmas begins at midnight on the United States Army x GrinchUgly Sweater of 24 December (the beginning of 25 December). One should not begin putting Christmas decorations up until Christmas Eve. Christmas Day lasts a full eight days, and ends on the first of January – the Octave Day of Christmas. The season of Christmas lasts until Epiphany on the 6 of January, so your decorations should stay up[ that long, and the Christmas Marian antiphon gets sung until the first of February, so you may take your Christmas decorations down at the end of January. Please, please, please do NOT put Christmas decorations up during Advent. Advent is the Penitential season which encompasses the four Sundays before Christmas, so it begins right around the end of November. To repeat, Advent is a PENITENTIAL season, so nothing of Christmas should intrude on Advent other than preparation – spiritual preparation for Christmas, going to confession each Saturday, saying extra prayers, going to daily Mass, etc. All would be excellent preparations for Christmas, but do NOT start celebrating Christmas itself until midnight at the beginning of 25 December!
